There’s no better way to kick off a weekend in Dubois than under the arena lights with a dust-kicking, crowd-cheering, family-friendly rodeo. From June through mid-August, the Dubois Friday Night Rodeo brings together locals and visitors for a classic night of Wyoming entertainment.

Minutes from The Longhorn Ranch, this event is a must-see for anyone wanting a real taste of the Cowboy State.

Where and When It All Happens

The Dubois Rodeo takes place at the Clarence Allison Memorial Arena, located at 5639 US-26, right here in Dubois, WY 82513. The Friday night rodeo kicks off at 7:30 PM sharp, but you’ll want to arrive early to grab a snack, find your seat, and soak up the small-town charm.

Ticket Info and Entry Details

Tickets are cash only at the gate. There are no presales, so come ready!

  • $15 for adults

  • $10 for kids 6–12

  • Free for children 5 and under

The gate opens early, and spots fill quickly, especially in July and August, so bring your crew and your cowboy hats and settle in for a good time.

Events That’ll Keep You Cheering

Come see the real West in action! Expect heart-pounding rides and Western grit in every event:

  • Bull riding

  • Barrel racing

  • Team roping (begins at 6:00 PM before the main event)

  • Breakaway roping

  • Barrel racing slack (after the main rodeo wraps up)

Rodeo entries are open Thursday nights before each event, from 7–9 PM by calling 307-710-7080.

Good Eats, Cold Beer & Rodeo Fun

No need to pack snacks; there’s food and beer on site, with options for the whole family. It’s a casual, come-as-you-are experience that feels like a block party with boots.

Know Before You Go

  • No dogs allowed, except service animals

  • Seating is open-air, so dress for the weather

  • Bring cash—tickets and concessions are cash only

  • Gates open well before showtime, so get there early for the best views

Stay Close to the Action at The Longhorn Ranch

After a night at the Dubois Friday Night Rodeo, head back to your basecamp at The Longhorn Ranch. Our riverside cabins, RV sites, and lodge rooms offer the perfect mix of comfort and Wild West spirit, just a short drive from the arena.

So whether you’re here for the rodeo entertainment, a quiet hike, or a scenic drive through the Wind River Mountains, you’ll find the best of Wyoming right here in Dubois.

Book your stay and catch a slice of the West that you’ll remember long after the dust settles.

Feature like this one about the Dubois Rodeo brings the experience to life by explaining what makes it special, from the rodeo action and local traditions to the community atmosphere and history behind the event. Breaking down key elements like the schedule, highlights of the competition, and what spectators can expect gives readers a clear picture without feeling overwhelmed by detail. Presenting information in a structured, accessible way helps anyone interested in travel, sport, or local culture feel excited and informed. In a similar way, HND students working on subjects such as event management, sports studies, or professional practice can benefit from structured support like HND Assignment Help UK, which helps them organise their ideas, apply theory to real‑world contexts,…

This was a fun and informative read. I appreciated how you tied elevation facts into practical travel considerations. It reminded me of a travel-planning article I saw on a https://citylineairconditioning.com/ where details really enhanced the experience.

Finding a trusted source in the field of regenerative medicine is a significant step toward a successful recovery. It’s important to understand not just the benefits, but the technical reality of the process. I’ve noticed a very high standard of data delivery at https://ways2well.com/blog/is-stem-cell-therapy-painful-what-to-expect-during-treatment, where complex clinical moments are explained clearly to spark motivation and fresh thinking for potential patients.

This post captures the spirit of the Dubois Rodeo beautifully. The mix of local history and event highlights makes it engaging even for readers unfamiliar with the area. I recently read a similar community-focused piece while working on localized content strategies for https://www.goprogaragedoorrepair.com/, and it reinforced how storytelling builds strong local connections. A very enjoyable and well-written article.
